When replace the OEM radio with an after market radio this harness provides a simply solution to connect the after market radio to the OEM harness. Harness directly plugs into the OEM radio harness . Our harness follows the E.I.A. color code standard so matching the wire to the after market is easy and makes is plug and play . Dodge Ram 2002-2004 Amp Bypass. In 2004 Dodge offered two different amplifiers for different trim packages. The 70-6512 harness is designed for the SRT10 trim package without the hands free capable option. The way to tell if the vehicle has hands free option is to look at the rear view mirror and see if it has an icon of a telephone on it. If there is no icon this harness will work.
